Introductory Event & Basic Training
Introductory Event & Basic Training
The Introductory Events always take place at the beginning of the semester and are primarily for newcomers who have not yet taken on their own cases. As part of the event, the Refugee Law Clinic will introduce itself and explain how it works and how you can get involved. At the end of the event you can take on your first case in teams and register with us as a member of the RLC Regensburg. As a result, you will also be added to our email distribution list and our Whatsapp group and will always be kept up to date.

The Basic Training takes place several times a semester. These training courses are intended to make it easier for you to get started with case processing and to give you an initial overview of asylum and migration law and frequently occurring problems. The basic training takes place face-to-face as well as via Zoom and is supervised by (specialist) lawyers for asylum and migration law.

At the beginning of the semester there is also an Introduction to Redmine, our case management program. The sometimes not entirely uncomplicated handling of the program and the case documentation is explained here. It will make your later work with the program much easier.

Participation in these events is of course voluntary but is highly recommended!
